The "Skate Penitentiary", or "Skate Penn", is State College's only full service skate and longboard shop and mini indoor skatepark.  Located at 209 W. Calder Way, between Fraser St. and Burrowes St. in downtown State College, it is just blocks away from Penn State University's campus and other surrounding attractions.  With future plans of bringing in a full-service snowboard department, we are the area's only premiere board shop.

The owners, Christian and "Shaggy", are bringing a good old neighborhood shop that the locals can call a second home.  Support your local shop!  Corporate America doesn't need anymore help.  Christian, a.k.a. "The Warden", has close to 18 years of experience in the skate and snowboard industry.  He has spent a good, vast few years of his life in San Diego, Colorado, and Florida, bringing with him a little bit of the various styles and subcultures from coast to coast to this unique shop.
